Ariel was such a great host. She would check in with me to see if I needed anything and made us feel welcomed. The place was clean and quiet and was a nice getaway. Target is only 5 minutes away from the place so it was easy to get things for our stay.

Our stay here was great! The home felt cozy and relaxing. The location was perfect all the major fun things to do in San Diego were not far. The neighborhood was quiet and lots of street parking. Definitely would stay here again. Our dog loved running around the backyard and front yard.

Our stay went well. The description of the home was accurate was accurate. The home was clean and everything we could have needed was available. The location was very convenient, but the neighborhood wasn't the most pleasant. The outdoor area was great for our dog. Street parking was plentiful.

The place is very clean, the furniture is very new, and the surroundings are very quiet. A very comfortable stay.

The minute we walked in, the place felt open, comfy, and super relaxing—exactly what we needed after flying in from D.C. The house is tucked between quiet neighbors, so it was peaceful the entire time. We loved how bright the living room was and had the best mornings drinking coffee beforestarting our days. Plus, the location made it easy to get anywhere we needed. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely try to book again on our next trip to San Diego.

Ariel was a great communicator. There was a hiccup in our plan in the beginning but Ariel worked with us to get the problem solved…what else can you ask for? The location is great and near many attractions. It is also clean and high recommended!

Great house for the price. Incredibly comfortable beds, linen and living space. Neighborhood was slightly seedy and more rundown than expected. The fire pit out the main bedroom was there, but the area around it was run down. It was easy to access all of the city and parking was always simple

We'd stay with the hosts again -- Ariel's communication was AMAZING - proactive, detailed but relaxed, friendly, etc. Old bones house but remodeled inside. A few things I wish we'd known before - the house is located up a hill behind another home. They explain well how to get in, but a house closer to the street would be easier unloading (it's hard to tell in the aerial photos - the driveway is for the front house). The house next door has 2 small reactive dogs that bark a lot - for our anxious rescue this would've been good to know ahead. Not being a SD local I didn't realize the A/C isn't full-power. The circuit breaks if the fans & both window units are on. I would've loved a unit in the king bedroom. It was 80 inside when we arrived and struggled to cool off quickly - could've been a hot weekend? The neighborhood feels sketchy at a glance but it wasn't at all - we did feel safe there. I loved the hosts & overall we had a great stay - lots of good amenities too!

Ariel’s place was great for my first visit to San Diego. The immediate neighborhood doesn’t have much to do, but everything we wanted to see was a quick and inexpensive uber away. The host was very responsive and accommodating to our requests. The home was a nice retreat after a full day of exploring.

Decorations and furnishing were nice. Beds were comfy. Ariel was very responsive when we had some hiccups. There are two air conditioning units, and ended up staying in the smaller room to better beat the heat, since it was the only one with aircon. It worked for what we needed but just be aware that this is not a walkable location, and you’ll need a car.

Overall, the place was very nice. For the pricing that was listed, we got well over what we expected. There were minor issues with our lodging, but besides those issues, there were many things that the Airbnb offered to make our trip to SD a memorable one.

My girlfriend’s family and I loved this place! We liked that it was located close to downtown and a 15-20 minute drive to most beaches, had lots of street parking available, had beach accessories for us to use (umbrella, chairs, and towels), and especially loved how cute and clean the inside and patio areas were. The neighbor had two small dogs that barked a little whenever we arrived/left the property, but they quieted down at night and were never an issue. Ariel was a really great host and even had a website with lots of helpful information about the property. We had an amazing stay and would definitely book again!

My friends and I loved Ariel’s place! It was exactly as described/shown and super cute! The privacy of the house was really nice and it was a quiet area. Ariel as a host is fantastic! She reached out with plenty of details (how to check-in, parking, getting to the house, etc.) and suggestions for the area that I felt comfortable before check-in and during our stay. I wouldn’t hesitate to book Ariel’s place again or look into her other listings!

We enjoyed our stay at the Palm House which was very clean and comfortable for our family. We appreciated having a pack in play and high chair for our youngest. It was great to have a BQ for one of our dinners. The location is central and close to everywhere we wanted to go. We would definitely stay here again. Ariel was a great host, very helpful and responsive.

Great stay, would def recommend. The house is beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. Super quiet at night, although the area felt a little sketchy at first, we felt very safe there. The house is nicely tucked away so very private, it’s also gated. We took our 2 dogs and the garden was very secure. Only a 6 min drive from the Gaslamp area. We were able to easily park. Very spacious, lovely home. We booked last minute, all the instructions were very thorough and clear. Thank you!!

Our family had such a great time staying at Ariel’s home! It is truly the perfect place for a family, with lots of necessities like crib sheets, beach toys, and plastic cups. The home is very central to SD, the kids even made note that we didn’t travel for much more than 15 minutes to get anywhere we were looking to go!

Loved staying here! Me and my friends were in town for Purple Disco Machine and the home was easy to uber to / from Gallagher Square. It easily slept the 5 of us and was spacious. The hosts were incredibly accommodating and responsive. I want to come back for a whole weekend - lovely design, not overdone, and the beds were comfy. Can’t wait to stay again.

Ariel was so responsive and thoughtful when I reached out and everything from then on was so easy for check in and requesting a late departure. The entire home is tucked back away from the street so you feel so safe and secure and private. The beach chic home decor is so so lovely and everything is extremely clean and the outside area was so well appointed for our ESA dog and my daughter enjoyed the space immensely. I will def be back and having an amazing host is 90% of an amazing stay in my opinion, so book with Ariel ; ) You won't be disappointed. Gorgeous home!

This place was perfect for our needs. Ariel really helped us out by accommodating an earlier check in when we arrived in town early. It was clean, had a well appointed kitchen and plenty of towels and linens. Really comfortable and located close to the attractions we wanted to visit! Would stay here with friends again.

La casa está en una zona céntrica muchas cosas por hacer cerca, tanto parques atracciones como tiendas y supermercados, no tiene estacionamiento pero en la calle encuentras fácil, si tienes maletas grandes ten en cuenta que hay que subir una pendiente y unos cuantos escalones para entrar a la casa, el aire acondicionado solo está en la sala, cada cuarto tiene su ventilador, la cocina está equipada para cocinar sin problema, las camas son cómodas y Ariel fue un buen anfitrión , siempre al pendiente y muy amable.

We had a great stay at Ariel’s while in town for the Wonderfront festival. Safe neighborhood, perfect for the dogs in the yard, couldn’t ask for anything more really!

Agree with all other 5 star reviews. Home description and photos were exactly as advertised. There is plenty of free parking on the street out front which is a huge benefit as the San Diego parking rates everywhere are high. The place was clean, the kitchen has had a total renovation and it was a great place to stay for the week while attending a wedding. Very convenient to downtown. We were not disappointed in our choice to stay here.

Good thing is there’s always a parking spot available. The place is kinda old but well-maintained.

We stayed at Arielle’s property for a week. It was close to downtown and Little Italy. 12 minute drive to SeaWorld and San Diego Zoo. 40 mins to Safari and Lego Land. It was the perfect location for us, a family of three. The house has everything that you would need. They have high chairs, baby chairs, things that you would need if you have a baby. They have games which kept our four year old busy when we’re at home. The house has a nice finishing touch and is very clean. We walked bear foot inside the house. :-). Arielle is very helpful and respond to our inquiries right away. We really didn’t message her much since we already have everything we need at the property. We will definitely book this place again when we go back to San Diego.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time in San Diego and the location of Ariel's house was perfect, the hilltop neighborhoods are walkable, lots of very high quality and interesting restaurants and fun shops. I particularly recommend Kingfisher and Kindred, 2 great spots for dinner.

We spent our whole time in Balboa Park, and Ariel’s place was close, and in a very quiet neighborhood.

We had a comfortable and safe stay at Ariel's Airbnb. We would not hesitate to recommend this unit to friends and family.

The place itself is on a quiet street tucked behind another property but easy enough to find with the provided instructions. Plenty of space and everything you need for a great stay, with small patios at the front and rear (shame the weather wasn’t better for our stay). Lots of space on the road for parking. There can be a bit of noise as the freeway is only a block or so away and the area is near the flight path of SD airport - but nothing too noticeable once indoors. Bit of a trek to downtown and/or shops if you choose to walk like we did - can recommend Jose’s Pollo on Market St for Mexican takeaway (about a 10min walk), and Asa Bakery a bit further along just before you hit the Gaslamp Qtr. Also Counterpoint (craft beer and food) on 25th St just up from the Shell garage. We headed north on 30th St to find a local supermarket. Lots to do and see around Seaport and Little Italy, or head up to La Jolla to see the seals. All within easy reach.

Great location, central for all of the activities we had planned. Also great for families, with beach toys, pack n play, etc.

We plus my pooch, had an absolutely fantastic time staying at Ariel’s place. The communication with Ariel was smooth and prompt, making the booking process so easy. Upon arrival, we had all info to enter and leave their property. The house was clean and beautifully decorated, providing a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. I personally loved the master bathroom with the double doors and fire pit. The amenities provided were very clean and everything we needed for our time there. Ariel made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and her prompt communication made the entire experience seamless. The location was almost perfect, not to mention the nearby dining and how close it was just to get to the beach. Overall, our experience was nothing short of amazing and comfortable. We cannot recommend Ariel’s property highly enough. Thank you for such a memorable stay for my birthday. We will definitely be back :)

Ariel’s stay was great! Super quiet, looked like the photos and Ariel is also very quick/responsive if you have any questions. Only downside is that it wasn’t near easily accessible transit (that we saw); we didn’t have a car with us so we used Uber to get downtown and then used transit from there. Very quiet location though which was great as we noticed the planes downtown are very loud. Would totally recommend the stay!

It was a nice short trip to San Diego, and Ariel's place had full equipped of everything! Overall the house size was a bit small as I expected, however, it was warm and cozy!

We had a PHENOMENAL stay here at Ariel’s place! Everything was clean, beautiful, and tidy. She had everything we needed. She even helped me to decorate the place for my mom’s birthday while we were out! She also came over right away to fix something. I can’t recommend this place enough!

We enjoyed our stay. We had little one's and they slept comfortably in queen bedroom with playpen. We felt right at home. The small yard was big enough for kids to run around and my spouse enjoyed the fire pit in backyard. Home was hidden in back of another home. It took us a little bit to figure out but we got it :) Beds were comfortable and kitchen was fully stocked.

This home is amazing for staying in San Diego. It’s in a very good location (close to downtown, Old Town, the zoo, and other great spots). The interior looks just like the photos—if not better—and is in excellent condition. It’s in a quiet neighborhood, which I really appreciate. The host, Ariel, was very supportive and responsible. All my questions and inquiries were answered immediately. I highly recommend this spot, especially if you’re traveling with your furry friends!

Ariel's place was lovely and cozy, my family and I enjoyed our stay there. We only stayed for one night. However, the location was convenient for all of the sightseeing we had planned for the day and there was plenty of space to park on the street at night. We hope to come back on our next visit :)
