Canyon View

This is a really great space! The apartment was clean and everything worked properly. The view into the canyon is magnificent and soooo peaceful! The neighborhood is calm and people are friendly. It is close to the freeway but you can't hear it much in the apartment. The hosts are easy to communicate with. The only downside is that you can really hear the upstairs neighbors quite well, I guess poor sound design of the building. There was a child who, naturally, is a bit loud with stomping and such. I think if I stayed there longer than a few days it would start to be annoying.

We really wanted to give this place 5 stars but the below kept us from doing so: 1) upstairs unit noise was loud - experience will depend on who is upstairs and their schedule. Unfortunately for us that meant getting woken up with loud activity noise at 7am, 7am 6am and 4:30am during our stay. Even with white noise on full, it could not drown it out. Earplugs are provided and the hosts did try to address the issue. 2) shower water pressure is dismal and drainage was an issue for us. 3) mild smell in the unit, ended up getting some air freshener spray to mask. It wasn't gross, just ...different. The unit is well stocked and the hosts are very responsive. Any issues communicated were addressed as best as possible in a timely manner.

If I were to return to visit my nephew and family, I would definitely return. The location is great; the apartment in great condition and very clean. Everything I needed was there and Ariel was very communicative.

Excelente el departamento, contaba con todo lo que prometía. Muy buena ubicación si quieres visitar San Diego. Ariel todo el tiempo siempre estuvo atenta y cuando tuve dudas no tardaba en responder. Lo recomiendo totalmente y volveria aqui sin dudarlo!

This place is a hidden gem. The neighborhood is so peaceful and overlooks a canyon. Everything you need is provided such as laundry detergent, shampoo, soap, coffee and more. There’s a washer and dryer! This place is cute, updated, and near lots of restaurants and bars. I would recommend to anyone and would definitely stay here again. The hosts are so responsive and helpful.

We had an amazing stay for my birthday weekend! The location was perfect. It was close to everything we wanted to do. The place was spotless and had everything we needed. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again!

Ariel was super helpful and responsive to our questions regarding the airbnb. We had some appliance issues and she was able to have someone come over in a timely manner to help. Great stay!

Great place to stay! Very clean, and Ariel was super communicative. I actually did a lot of cooking in the kitchen while I stayed there and there were all the necessary utensils and appliances. Highly recommend!

Peaceful, relaxing stay! The house is tucked away in a residential neighborhood with canyon views from the balcony. The inside matched exactly what the description said, the room was clean, kitchen and bathroom were fully stocked with all necessities for a week long stay (pans, pots, dishes, soap, towels). There’s also a washer and dryer with detergent so you can do laundry during a long stay. The only con is that the walls are thin so you can hear the people staying upstairs, but the host was quick to respond and help if the noise got too much. Overall 5/5 stay, felt right at home and had a nice relaxing stay with my family and cat. Would stay again!

My wife and I just got married and chose San Diego for a small honeymoon trip. The place was absolutely amazing—cozy, spacious, and in the perfect location with easy access to the beach, restaurants, and stores. We brought our two dogs and instantly felt right at home! Although the property was a little tucked away, it truly felt like a hidden gem. We’ll definitely be staying here again on our next trip back. Our host, Ariel, was wonderful—so accommodating and thoughtful, checking in when we first arrived and again the next day to make sure we had everything we needed.

Great host, very communicative and helpful! The place itself is great! It is three stories so if you get the middle story, you will hear if the upstairs tenants are moving around. Other than that I would stay again!

It was really clean and Ariel was really responsive. Whatever we requested during our stay, she provided us in the same day and we absolutely had the best stay. Parking was a concern for us thinking that we might not find a spot on the street but we understood that there are plenty of space in front of the house. The only thing stands in the building was that the walls were thin and you could hear the upstairs. It didn't really bother us but if you are sensitive to noise, just to keep in mind. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and we would love to come back in the future.

Had a wonderful stay! The Airbnb was spotless and beautifully designed. Parking right in front made coming and going super convenient. My favorite part was the backyard, the view was absolutely stunning, and the comfortable seating made it the perfect spot to relax or enjoy a good book.
