Our group had a great time here! Great common spaces and amazing sunset view from the deck. Great breakfast and coffee within walking distance and a great local market as well that head everything we needed for our weekend. Would absolutely book again

Had a great stay here with my husband and baby. The neighborhood is very cute and it’s a quick walk to the beach, walking and hiking trails, restaurants and stores. The house itself was beautiful and well stocked. The ocean and sunset views from the house were gorgeous. They also had a travel crib for our baby available.

Amazing spot close to the beach. Great views and close to a lot of restaurants and bars. The place was nice and clean. Very spacious and plenty of room for our large group staying. Great place, would stay again.

This was a perfect place for our extended family during the holidays. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for us. Able to watch the sunsets from the deck. Our dog liked the backyard. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook. Coffee was supplied and a Brita pitcher. Beds were comfortable. Master bedroom was such a private, nice space with view of ocean. Grandsons wanted to move here. I wish!

The place was great. Ariel was very communicative and helpful. Location was great, parking was easy, and it was walkable to everything you need. I hope to return.

Ariel has been an excellent hostess prior to and throughout our stay. Our house was exactly as described in the listing, was very clean, functional and perfect for our needs.

A fantastic house in a beautiful neighborhood with a gorgeous view. We loved the quiet and beautiful surroundings. The house was large with plenty of nice spaces indoors and out. I was a little concerned about the downstairs "open" bedroom but it was better than I anticipated and was not an issue for us. Was really nice having a fully stocked panty with spices, condiments and more. We left a few things to "pay it forward". Overall perfect for our family of 3 generations to stay there and would highly recommend.

The beautiful ocean view and abundant natural light in the living and dining areas made the space feel open and relaxing. The location is fantastic, just a short walk to shops, restaurants, and hiking trails, including a lovely route to the lagoon. The neighborhood feels very safe and friendly, which added to the comfort of our stay. The pillows in the master bedroom are quite flat and don’t suit the king-size bed—some thicker or king-sized ones would be a welcome improvement. Also, be aware that the master bathroom has no door, so there’s little privacy if you’re sharing the room. That said, the positives outweighed the drawbacks, and with a few small updates, this place would be close to perfect. We'd consider staying again!

My family absolutely loved the home. The deck looking out to the Pacific Ocean was better than expected. The neighborhood is very quiet and the home is very comfortable. Our family will plan another long weekend trip at this home.

Thank you Ariel for quick responses and availability. Everything was easy. The three levels worked out great for our group with different sleep and wake times and privacy. We weren’t lacking in anything except maybe a “how to use the TV remote” instructions. We especially loved the deck with the amazing ocean and sunset view. The home was spacious and clean. We walked to great coffee shops (Rosehill and Surfdog Java hut) We had a great dinner with ocean view at Pacific Coast Grill and an ocean view breakfast at Ki’s. We did a beach walk and hiked Annie’s Canyon Trail. We will need to catch the temple Garden next time. Thanks!

This home is so lovely, with a gorgeous ocean view. Ariel was a wonderful communicator and went way out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed for the baby traveling with us. The beds were super comfortable, the showers were amazing. We just wanted to stay longer. We visit Encinitas frequently, and this would be our top choice for future stays!

WOW!!! I can't overstate what a life saver Ariel was. We were evacuated from LA due to the fires and needed to find a home out of the fire-zone. We love Encinitas but this place far exceeded our expectations. It was GORGEOUS, comfortable, felt immediately like home and the host (Ariel) went above and beyond to welcome us and make it easy as can be (after a sleepless night). We'll definitely be back soon!! This house is a great location where you can easily walk to the beach and local markets in Cardiff by the Sea. Additionally, with 3 different levels, there was plenty of space for 8 people. The host was also very responsive and accommodated an early check-in !

My wife and I came with our dog to stay for 5-days. We LOVED the home and location. We could easily walk to the beach, shopping, & restaurants and, with three floors, there was plenty of room to spread out and work or read. The view from the deck was fantastic with a clear view of Cardiff Reef and, at night, lights all the way to La Jolla. Thanks for a great 5-days in one of our favorite places on earth - Cardiff by the Sea.

This house is close enough to Cardiff that you can do a wave check from the balcony. Comfortable and beautiful house. We loved it.

We loved Ariel’s place! Very responsive to all of our messages (both prior to and during our stay) providing us with helpful information for our arrival, check-in, and stay. The AirBnB has excellent amenities and is very clean, and we made a lot of use of the kitchen and common space with our group. It has a beautiful patio. The house is within walking distance of the beach, great coffee shops, and stores. We had a wonderful time!

My family and I loved Ariel’s place! There were 2 families with small kids who loved all the different rooms and wonderful patio to hang out on. Very spacious, terrific kitchen and dining area, and close to many shops and Legoland. Ariel was very proactive and reached out several times to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. We also loved all the fun and interesting art. We had a great time!

Great deck. Walkable to restaurants, the local grocery had really good tri tip!

This is a great place to relax with the family and enjoy all that Cardiff has to offer! We would definitely come back!

It was a beautiful house!

The home had a great view, lots of space, a quiet private space, lots of comfortable rooms to relax in. The water pressure was good. Very walkable around Cardiff. You could walk to the beach if you wanted to otherwise a very short drive or bike ride. The outdoor shower was heated which made rinsing off after the beach enjoyable. Great place for a gathering of friends or family. Highly recommend and appreciate the ease of communication throughout the whole trip.

Had a wonderful stay at Ariel’s home with our family of 6. The ocean view and breeze on the outdoor patio was the perfect place to be with a book and cocktail. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals. Last but not least the beds were very comfortable and each room had ceiling or floor fans to keep things cool. Overall wonderful stay in cardiff by the sea. Will be back. Thanks Ariel

We had a wonderful stay at this place. The views are even better in person. The location is very close to the town of Cardiff and good beaches are nearby. The house is spacious and was very clean. Host was very friendly and responsive. They even had an electric knife (who does that?) I would love to visit again sometime.

Beautiful three story home with great deck on third level. Great view of the ocean. Easy walk to the beach and the city of Cardiff. Short drive to the beautiful city of Encinitas and great restaurants. Highly recommend this place if you have a large family or a couple of families. Hoping to return one day.

This place is a genuine 5-star: luxurious, spacious, clean, awesome view of the Pacific Ocean, and great value for the cost. Surrounding area possesses a beach vibe. Eateries and grocery markets nearby. This has been one of the few places that I’ve stayed at where the profile photos understate just how nice this home actually is!
