The location was excellent. Close to the Zoo, Balboa Park and Downtown. The house was clean and comfy and felt like a private retreat. We enjoyed our stay and will come again.

Loved our stay here and would highly recommend! The place was clean and cute with all the amenities. The beds and furniture were comfortable. The neighborhood was nice and very close to a lot of restaurants and coffee shops that were walkable , and then a lot that were very close to drive to as well- most of the popular areas in San Diego are within a 10-15 drive from here (downtown, beaches, etc). We absolutely loved the location and the home itself. The host was very kind and checked in with us , but was not overbearing. Everything was perfect and we would stay again! Bonus that it was pet friendly and had a parking spot !

Overall, our stay was very nice. The house was roomy and comfortable except for the couch. The neighborhood is nice. We picked because it's near where our son lives and very much enjoyed being close to Balboa Park and so many good restaurants. Would definitely recommend it for 2-4 people.

We enjoyed Ariel’s friendly and caring hospitality. She gave us some great ideas for dog friendly places to visit, as well as some great things to do during unexpected rainy days. She was very responsive and even checked in on us during our stay to make sure we were all set. She is an excellent host!

Had such a relaxing stay. We are local and our house had repairs needing to be done so needed to find a quiet zen place to stay and this was it. Can’t wait to tell friends visiting to stay here too. Perfect location and walkability to restaurants was so nice. Ariel was very kind and responsive!

We loved Ariel's place the upstairs is light and airy. It is really nice to have a deck area off of the kitchen. It was a quiet lovely place to stay, and I would book it again. Also, Ariel is a very responsive host and I enjoy communicating with her.

Our family really enjoyed staying at this Airbnb and it's one of the best that we've stayed at. The location was great - it's in a quiet neighborhood, parking was easy, and its within walking distance of lots of restaurants/shops. It's also close to Balboa Park and not too long of a drive to the beach, airport, or other points of interest. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. The living room had great natural light and was a nice place to relax. We traveled with our 3 year old daughter and appreciated some of the kid friendly items like kids plates/cups/utensils in the kitchen as well as some other helpful items like beach towels. Overall, we would definitely recommend this Airbnb.

Ariel is a very responsive host and the home is in a great location. It’s centrally located and close to many amenities.

It ended up being the perfect space we needed, I met a good friend from Portland there and the house layout worked out perfectly, comfortable rooms for privacy and for gathering. The house site is lovely in the woods, it feels very secluded and quiet. I love that location, walked to South Park to the dog park, walked to the farmers market in North Park, walked to Balboa Park for the sunsets and Santos coffee was just around the corner. I had questions my first morning there and Ariel responded immediately. Next time I'm in San Diego I check with Ariel on availability.

Ariel's home provided the best weekend getaway! The home is gorgeous, clean, and easy to find. Our furbaby loved to explore the backyard. The best part was the location- only a few blocks away is a BBQ joint that is a MUST TRY. We hope to come back again!

Tastefully decorated house in a private location. Walkable to several nice restaurants, and well situated for exploring the greater San Diego area. Beds were comfortable, house was clean, and host was responsive and proactive. Would stay again!

Our recent stay in North Park was my favorite Airbnb by far. The home is located in a quiet neighborhood & was very peaceful. It had everything needed to relax. We loved how charming & clean it was. The kitchen was perfect for cooking & the freezer had lots of ice. We enjoyed the beds which were incredibly comfortable. Both bedrooms have mini splits which were amazing & kept the temperature nice & cool. There is a full bathroom downstairs that was easily shareable. There is also a half bath upstairs which was very nice. The parking at the house was convenient & accommodated our 2 vehicles perfectly. One car & a midsize SUV. Ariel recommended a local coffee shop called Santos, which was a quick walk around the corner. They had the most delicious coffee & breakfast. There is also a great BBQ place across the street from Santos called Grand Ol BBQ. It was incredible & had such a nice patio. If you are craving something sweet they also have soft serve & sundaes. Definitely will be back !

Location, location, location!!! The space is located in a quiet neighborhood close to shops, restaurants, and only 10-15 minute drive from Balboa Park. The beds were very comfortable and spacious. There’s lots of closet space. We had a great stay.

Prime location. Great accommodations. Fantastic Host. This general location is our favorite in San Diego. 20 mins walk or a short drive to University Ave for Hillcrest or North Park touring. Easy drive down to South Park. Convenient access to freeways for farther trips or through the park to Gas Lamp and Little Italy. Many great restaurants and taprooms even closer like Little Bird Brewing and the adjacent Grand Ole BBQ Y Asado not more than a 5 min walk away. The house was a perfect for our family of 4 with two king sized beds plus an additional pull out sofa. Very quite location nestled back and away from any major traffic streets. Ariel was very communicative and responsive and everything about the stay was extremely smooth. We'll definitely keep this in our favorites for our next trip.

My family had a great stay at Ariel's place: beautiful, spacious, and super comfy. We visited when Jacaranda was blooming, and honestly the backyard looked even better than in the photos.

This is a lovely little hideaway! It was quiet and felt very safe. Yard is smallish and on a slope but perfectly adequate to let dogs out for a run around if you are traveling with them. Inside was lovely - quaint and clean. Kitchen had all we needed. Ariel was prompt in her communication and kindly let me change my reservation during my stay. Highly recommended!

Super convenient location with great restaurants and shops. A wonderful cozy back deck and yard that was wonderful for our dogs and relaxing sun spot for humans alike. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and cannot wait to be back again.

We had a wonderful stay! The home was very nice, spotlessly clean, and exactly as described. The hosts were extremely responsive and made everything easy from check-in to check-out. One of the highlights was relaxing on the patio and watching a few hummingbirds visit — such a peaceful touch. We would definitely stay here again!

Ariel was very responsive with her communication. She messaged right away to guide us through our experience and responded quickly when I had a question. The space was clean and just like the photos. We stayed there during April, I know it is not peak season in San Diego but it was very reasonably priced for the location and how nice it was. There was dedicated parking. It was on a little bit of a hill, but if you're decent at parking it's not a big deal. The beds were comfortable, the linens were nice and clean. Both bedrooms were downstairs with a full bath in-between. They were a little cold but the split units in each room were great for climate control. The light does stay on when it's on and can make it a little difficult to sleep if you are sensitive to light. We just ran the heat leading up to bed time and turned it off and we were fine. The BNB was less than 10 minutes from the zoo and we went to tons of restaurants that were a short drive away. We would recommend staying here
