The Overlook

This is by far one of the best places I’ve stayed at. Definitely will be back.

Great San Diego stay! Most enjoyed breakfast on the balcony with amazing views!

Ariel and her team were always easy to get ahold of and proactively helpful. The home is very peaceful in a friendly neighborhood short drive to grocery stores. The location is a bit tucked away if you’re coming from the 5 or 805, but not too far. Interior is just like the photos, pleasant decor, large private balcony, and great washer/dryer. Felt very homey!

Would give 100 stars if that was an option. This BnB is legitimately fully stocked. The kitchen and BBQ had everything we needed to cook and eat for a family of 4 plus a few visitors. There were plenty of pillows, towels, and blankets. Bathroom had all basic hygiene items. Plenty of seating to enjoy the different spaces- living, dining, balcony, bbq. We were able to do our laundry. My newborn niece was able to visit because of the equipped pack and play. Most notably it was seamless to reach out and extend our stay an extra night, and upon check-out there was *NOT* a heaping laundry list of items to clean prior to leaving. I don't appreciate having to do extensive cleanup and still pay a hefty cleaning fee. Ariel and her team were extremely accommodating, welcoming, and communicative. I would 100% re-book and would love to stay at her other properties. Epitome of a great host and great stay. My little ones did not want to leave. Thank you!

Tge location is well placed, not too far from the zoo or the coast and parking was easy to find on the street. The place was very well kept and inviting. Even with my especially late check-in, Ariel was understanding and made the process easy!

Ariel was a friendly and responsive host. The place was newly remodeled, comfy beds, well decorated; outdoor spaces were great. As noted, there is no A/C other than in the living room, so the back bedrooms were warm during the day, but they cooled off after sunset with windows open. We would gladly stay here again!

Ariel was very communicative and responsive. We needed to check in early and they were able to accommodate. The stay had everything we neeeded. It was an enjoyable

The atmosphere was wonderful, with amazing views and a peaceful, welcoming neighborhood. The host’s communication was excellent, quick to respond and always clear, and the instructions provided made check-in and navigating the space very easy. Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

We had such a great stay at Ariel’s place! The area was very clean and welcoming, and we loved how close everything was, Gaslamp and surrounding spots were just a short drive away. Very quiet neighborhood. We’d love to stay here again!

We had a great stay at Ariel’s, the condo is beautiful and the neighborhood is very peaceful and felt safe. We had a few issues with the AC and the home being very hot during the day time since the air conditioner is only in the living room, however Ariel arranged for us to get some fans and it did help cool the home a little better. Ariel was very responsive, we loved the location only about 15 minutes from downtown and the beds were very comfortable!

Was in San Diego for work and had an amazing stay. The place had everything you could need including washer and dryer. The balcony overlooking the canyon was a great spot to do some work during the evening. Peaceful and relaxing. If you enjoy running, there's a great hull for repeats just outside and it leads to a few trails that make a loop back. location is central to 15 and 805 which makes getting anywhere fairly easy. 163 is not too much further down either. They definitely know what they're doing and I hope more folks find their way to this spot. The host was also incredibly understanding as I had a bit of an embarrassing moment, confusing which day I was checking out on and had my stuff there past checkout. Was completely my fault and I hope I didnt cause them too much stress.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The apartment was lovely with great views. The washer/dryer was great to have. Ariel was so responsive and answered any questions we had so quickly. We had a very comfortable stay. The furnishings were really nice. Modern and cozy and free of clutter! Loved it!

An incredible stay one that me and my friends will remember. Check-in was smooth and easy with checkout being even easier. The place was spotless and looked freshly remodeled the. My group and I felt right at home and enjoyed our stay feeling rejuvenated when we left. 5 stars will most definitely check this location again for availability when we’re back in town.

It was a pleasant stay, felt like I lived there. Private, cozy, and clean.

Our hotel canceled our reservation therefore we had to find a last minute booking. Came across this listing and it over exceeded our expectations. Place was very clean, modern and had everything we needed. Felt a source of comfort with Ariel checking in to make sure everything was okay and our needs were met. Definitely recommend Ariels place to anyone and I would love to stay here again.
