Barrio Bungalow

I stayed here with my boyfriend and my parents and we had the BEST time!! The garage was really convenient to have. The location was close to many of the major attractions. There was a great supermarket 1-2 minute drive and 5 minutes walk away. The neighborhood was quiet and everyone slept comfortably and the kitchen was amazing to cook in and we had just about everything we’d need to live there comfortably. We would definitely come again if back in San Diego!

Communication with Ariel was easy and efficient and we absolutely enjoyed our stay. The place is as described and looks just like the photos provided. We were able to fit our mid size SUV inside of the garage and there were no issues. I used to live in the area and for the chance to stay within 2 miles was nostalgic. I would highly recommend!

Felt right at home! Ariel was accommodating with an early check-in the day of that we greatly appreciated as well! Would stay here again when we come back in town. It’s decently close to a trolley stop which made it easy to move around the city too.

Great place to stay at, very close to a Mexican market and the trolley station that makes every part of San Diego accessible. Loved the fact that they had a driveway and enclosed garage that made me feel secured getting a rental car.

We had an incredible stay here! Would highly recommend it, especially if you are attending a conference. We took the tram to get to the convention center and didn’t have any issues finding things to do!

We loved the property! The inside was so well maintained and it was very convenient for us, especially because we were traveling with a baby! Ariel was very very responsive. We did have issues with parking garage - the device to get in would not work. Overall, it worked out great for us. Thank you for the wonderful experience!

Was in town for a convention and having a house to come back to was amazing and only 10min from the convention center. Definitely would use again next year.

Great host!!

We have stayed at Ariels' barrio logan home before, and we are already set to stay there again! The home is super conveniently located to the venue where we host Inner Child Theater Camp (for adults!), with great fast-casual restaurants nearby. The place is always super tidy, comfortable, looks just like the pictures. I recommend it!

Perfect location the neighborhood had so Latino owned shops felt like I was home. Very peaceful neighborhood and house was beautiful.

We had a great stay here! It is very conveniently located for getting to Coronado, downtown, Balboa, and the airport. This was a perfect base for our adventure!

Had an amazing time! Felt super cozy, felt like home. Loved that they had baby needs! Less than 10 min walk to the train station and market. Definitely would stay here again!

The house was very nice and we were comfortable. We could not get the code to the garage to work (they did try to re-set it and were very responsive) so that was cumbersome.

This was a great place to stay with my family for five days. Ariel was responsive and attentive to anything we needed. The place is clean, well located, and has all the amenities you could possibly need during a stay. We’ll definitely come back on our way back to SD.

The place was great! Close to everything we wanted to do. Quick 5 min walk to the market. Very clean and had every kitchen tool/ utensil you could need. My kids didn’t want to leave! If we ever come back to San Diego I would def book again! Thank you!!!

Place was cozy and perfect for what we needed. It had all the necessary amenities and we all felt at home. My mom sat outside under the tree and did her morning meditation. I was able to work remotely with WiFi and my son loved hanging out in the living room. The garage is small, which is mentioned, but be prepared, we had a mid size SUV and it fit (by backing in very carefully). Also, it does mention it’s in Chicano park, I was not familiar with the area, at first impression, it does feel a little sketchy but once you go inside the home it’s like a different world. And honestly, neighborhood was quiet, well lit and felt safe, even at night. We did not have an opportunity to try the local recommendations but will definitely try some at our next visit. We did shop at the local Northgate market which was well stocked and very convenient. Enjoyed our stay and would stay here again for our next SD visit!

We had a wonderful time here and everything was well maintained and clean. This home was close to everything SD has to offer including the Zoo, Old Town, Little Italy, Petco Park, Coronado, all the beaches etc.. Ariel was great in communication, especially during check-in as the codes needed to be rebooted and it took only 5 minutes for her to respond and fix. We were not thrilled with the neighborhood, but there were no issues.

Home is lovely and in very quiet area. We felt safe and our vehicle fit in the garage so that was a huge plus! I loved the fact they had a high chair for our 13 month old which made it 100% family friendly. The home is extremely clean, organized and everything worked as it should.

Ariel’s place was wonderful. It was very fitting for my family. The house was very clean, updated, and had all the kitchen items we needed plus some. Only thing was the neighborhood was a little loud. Home itself was perfect though.

We had such a great time staying at this Airbnb during our girls’ trip to San Diego! The house was clean, stylish, and exactly as pictured. It had everything we needed, from a fully stocked kitchen to comfortable beds and plenty of space to relax. The location was perfect, close to the beach, great restaurants, and fun nightlife, but still quiet and peaceful when we got home. The host was super responsive and helpful, which made everything easy from check-in to check-out. We especially loved the outdoor area! Highly recommend this spot for a group getaway. We’d definitely stay here again!

The place was great and right near Chicano Park. There are tons of awesome local spots nearby like burger joints, coffee shops, record stores, and more. It’s also really close to Gaslamp and Downtown. The place was very clean and looked exactly like the pictures. Ariel was an amazing host, friendly and quick to respond! I would definitely love to stay here again.

We had a lovely stay at Ariel’s place. The accommodation is exactly as described, all very new and clean, fully equipped kitchen. We were with 5 adults and there was more than enough space. The place is away from the immediate hubbub of the gaslamp quarter but with several shops and restaurants within walking distance - including an amazing Italian restaurant (Ciccia Osteria). Ariel was a great host. Very communicative and quick response to questions. Beds were very comfortable and even the sofa bed was good to sleep on. We will definitely stay here again next time we’re in San Diego.

One of the best stays I’ve experienced in San Diego! Super close to gaslamp and other areas of San Diego! The Airbnb itself was beautiful, clean and spacious. It had all the essential amenities and more! The beds were very comfy to sleep in and the area is quiet which is a plus! Will definitely stay here again :)

If you’re looking for a cozy, private, well-decorated stay this place was such a great option! It had its own patio, gate and garage so our car felt safe in the neighborhood. Up the street had local shops and was very lively and felt like you were apart of a community. Host responds super fast and is helpful with all of our needs. Thank you for hosting us!
