The Clubhouse

We had a longer stay (around 5 weeks) at this unit due to being displaced from our local home due to water damage. This home was PERFECT for our family of 6 (including 4 boys ages 1-7). We came with just some clothing from our home and were delighted that there were plenty of books, toys, and playground/climbing equipment outside for our boys. We felt right at home immediately. Ariel was so responsive when issues arose and the fact that Coastline Vacation Rentals has multiple properties was a godsend when we had to leave the property for a few days due to a gas leak issue beyond anyone’s control. Ariel stepped right up and put us in another property where our kids were comfortable and still close to our three school drop offs. I can’t say enough good things about Ariel/Coastline as a host and this property as a place to stay. It truly felt like a home to us and we were honestly sad to leave!

House was a great place for our family with 4 little kids. Spacious inside and outside made our stay great. All the amenities had young children in mind which made our stay so much more enjoyable. The kids settled into the house easily and slept well, which is a great achievement! We definitely will try to stay here again next time we’re in San Diego.

We absolutely loved all of the thoughtful, kiddo-friendly touches at Ariel’s place. It was the perfect place for our little family reunion which included 4 kiddos ages 3 and under.

We had the absolute best time at Ariel's place. The home is very well equipped. While we were at a business conference, our kids loved the books, toys, and back yard has slide, little house and other activities kids can enjoy. Ariel was very responsive and proactive. Thank you so much! We would definitely come back to this place when we are back to San Diego, CA.

Ariel was so easy to work with and responded to our inquiries. Were were able to check in early and found the place to be exactly what we wanted. Clean, spacious with an extra bonus of outdoor seating which is great in Cali! Would love to stay there again in the future.

Ariel is a great host with good communication. The place is in a good neighborhood and has an easy access. Everything is as shown on the photos. Lots of room and kid friendly. One of the neighbors did come out and complain about kids talking too loud in the middle of the day, which was shocking. One other issue was outdated kitchen accessories. The sink faucet was badly secured and felt like it could break any moment. Pots and pans were also really old and we felt uncomfortable using them. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

Ariel was such a friendly and accommodating host . Her house was clean and so many amenities and things for kids to do . Would reccomend this place to families with kids .

I want to start off by saying that Ariel is an incredible host. She was able to accommodate us with a last minute reservation for a large group of 12 (8 adults, 3 preteen granddaughters and an 11 month old baby)! I have OCD so cleanliness is important to me, her home is not only clean but beautifully decorated, exactly as pictured. It felt like home, it's a perfect place for family's with children or just a large group. We loved the proximity to the beach and other attractions. I would recommend renting this home to anyone visiting the area! We will definitely return in the future.

We had a great stay at Ariel's house. Check in and out was easy and response time was quick. The place was exactly as shown in the pictures and the descriptions. The location was great as it was 10-20 minutes to Sea World, Zoo, Museums, etc. There was a starbucks and Sprouts market 2 blocks away and a larger Ralphs was a 10 minute drive. Kitchen was well stocked. The neighborhood was very quiet and friendly. Best of all for our grandchildren were all the toys, books and games available and the playsets outside. Having a full size crib in addition to a pack and play was also great. Would definitely go back.

We stayed here with seven adults, two ten year olds, and two three year olds. The house is perfectly and meticulously set up for families with children of all ages, and is more than spacious enough to accommodate our group. The kitchen is well stocked, location is terrific for a home base. Perfect house for a large family weekend getaway.

This Airbnb was perfect for our family and bigger than expected. We had 4 children under the age of 9 with us and really appreciated all the property had to offer for kids. Tons of toys and books. The kids room with the double bunk beds fit our children perfectly. We were in town for a graduation and the property was so close to La Jolla, but also situated well for the graduation, and to the Zoo, which we went to multiple days. Overall, we would highly recommend this Airbnb and would happily stay there again.

We had a great time! My toddler LOVED the bunk beds (she called it the top bed the chicken coop and it gave us hours of play throughout the week!). There were lots of toys and books for the kids to play with. I was very worried about sleep while traveling with an infant and toddler but everyone had their own space and we all got good rest. The house was clean. Ariel was very communicative and helpful when I had a question. We loved it!

This home was perfect for our extended family to share during a wedding weekend in La Jolla. Ariel was a professional and friendly host. We could walk to the grocery store and Starbucks. We also enjoyed all the neighborhood sidewalks for exercise. WiFi was a little spotty in the back bedroom making it difficult to stream live TV, but otherwise, all was good. Plenty of clean sheets and towels. Plenty of hot water. Plenty of seating. Plenty of toys and books for the kids. Very clean. Would definitely book again.

We had a lovely holiday weekend with three families, including five little ones (ages 1–6). The home was great for kids, with plenty of activities to keep them entertained. We enjoyed cooking meals, getting some rest, and making lasting memories. It was a perfect space to reconnect and unwind. Ariel was friendly, helpful, and impressively responsive—usually within 5–30 minutes—and the available early check-in offer was much appreciated. That said, we did encounter a few maintenance issues, including a non-working microwave, slow-draining showers, and a loose glass door. While Ariel responded quickly and offered support, finding these issues on our first night was a bit of a letdown. Overall, the home has a lot of charm and potential. With a few updates, it could easily be a 5-star stay. We’d be happy to rent from Ariel and her team again.

My family and I really loved how clean and spacious this home away from home was! The home had everything you needed for a family! Very kid friendly which was perfect for my family! It is close to all the attractions that we came to San Diego for, SeaWorld, San Diego Zoo and much more! Definitely will book again when we are in San Diego! Definitely recommend this beautiful home!!

The place is the perfect family getaway, everything was thoughtfully placed all the kids had such great time in the yard!

Ariel’s place was perfect for our family! We had 6 adults and 4 children. It is spacious, comfortable and plenty of toys for the kids to play with and keep busy! It’s close to the beach and there is a grocery store right around the corner. We would definitely stay here again!

My entire family LOVED this place. I think the amenities are under-sold!! Just to name a few highlights for us- high chair, crib AND packnplay, one set of utensils for toddlers, 2 toddler plates, huge box of train tracks to entertain the kids, and wide variety of books for kids of all ages. We also loved that a Starbucks and grocery story was just 2 blocks away!! I almost went with a different listing because I thought the other place was more kid friendly. But it turns out this place had everything I wanted, but it just wasn’t well advertised. I wish they had pictures of their highchair and crib. The rooms are separate from the living/play area so it was great that kids could wake up early and not wake up everyone else! If the weather was nicer, I would have loved to enjoy their outdoor space which looked so inviting!

The hosts, Ariel specifically, were amazing and the property was just as described; perfect for families and even better for kids. House was clean and as described, with plenty to offer and very responsive hosts. Highly recommend!

It was spacious, in a quiet neighborhood with grocery store and restaurants nearby, and in a perfect spot to be able to explore San Diego. It felt like a wonderful home away from home for a few days. Home was perfect for our family.

Stayed here with our family with 5 small kids. It is super family friendly with tons of toys for all ages and a high chair, crib and pack and play. Very safe with no hazardous stairs or areas needing hyper vigilance for our crawling baby. Lots of space and bedrooms. washer/dryer worked great and soap provided! Outdoor space was wonderful and a total highlight of our stay. Good location in quiet neighborhood (although backyard backs up onto busy street-well fenced in though) and close drive to all the attractions. Ariel was really responsive and accommodating. We had an awesome time visiting San Diego which used to be our home. We would definitely stay here again!

The house was awesome! Exactly as described and pictured. Extremely clean too, which is a big plus for me. Perfect for families! Kids loved the outside play area plus all the toys and books inside. Plenty of room for 11 to be comfortable. Including our infant, who slept in the crib that was provided. Ariel was responsive and super helpful with any questions I had. Would definitely book this property again.

Ariel's place was a nice getaway for me and my family! There was so much space and things for the kids to play with. The place was clean and the location was great. We were happy there was plenty of street and driveway parking which made it stress-free. The backyard was spacious and cozy! Overall, we were really happy with our stay and it was very homey.

If you're traveling in the San Diego area with your entire family, this is the perfect house for you. The home is well suited for young and old (a sweet spot for multi-generational family travel). A house highlight was the abundant children's books, toys, play areas (indoor and outdoor), bunk beds and more. A nice surprise was the neighborhood charm, with stores, playgrounds, and hiking trails all a short walk from the home (the Standley Park trail, San Clemente Canyon trail, and Rose Canyon trail are each enjoyable as single walks or impressive as a longer connected loop). A big perk was the multiple outdoor areas (including couches, tables, fire pits, and swing set) to enjoy the nice weather. The house is centrally located for most outings - without traffic we joked that everything seemed like a 10-20 minute drive away. For those looking for a nice evening (without kids), great restaurants in La Jolla or San Diego are an easy uber ride away.

This is a great place for families with kids! The backyard was a highlight, and our children had an amazing time playing there during our trip. Ariel was very responsive and readily available to address any questions we had.

First time in San Diego and I felt super safe and cozy in this home. Loved all the options for the kids, have 2 toddlers who enjoyed their stay & kids don’t lie!! They couldn’t stop talking about this home and their trip. Would definitely stay here again.

My family really enjoyed their stay. My wife has told me numerous times that this is the only place she wants to stay when she stays in San Diego. It was a great place for a family. My kids had a great time at the park as well as all the reading materials and toys inside the house.

10 minutes from everything was great. We were there for almost a full month and it was lovely to be close to all things. The backyard was a huge win for the kiddos and they loved it. The amount of toys for the kiddos was also a huge win. This place is comfy, homey, and great for traveling with small kids

The home was everything we expected. Plenty of space throughout the house for our group of 10 to spread out comfortably and enough beds for everyone. The outdoor space was great. So many areas to relax and enjoy and the bonus was the playground area, even though we didn’t have any kids. Ariel was a great host, very attentive and offered many suggestions. Would definitely recommend for large groups especially with kids.

The house itself was good and a useful location to visit the area. Took 25 mins to Coronado Beach or Mission Beach. Be aware that during summer time July/August parking at the beaches are horribly crowded (nothing to do with the house but helpful to know). What made the difference was Ariel and her team! She was super responsive, helpful, and was on top of any issues. i didnt expect to have to message her during our stay but things came up and its so helpful when there is someone to reach immediately. A++ for customer service. Thank you!

We had a wonderful stay here while our home was undergoing some repairs. The location is close to Sprouts, Starbucks, and the post office. Ariel was very communicative throughout our stay and accommodating. Our kids enjoyed the playground and the toys. We highly recommend!

Everything was as pictured and more! The home is beautiful and the outside area was just perfect for our family with grandparents! Grilled, made s’mores and really enjoyed the backyard. We will definitely be back! Ariel was also very quick to respond to any questions! Great stay.
