We had a wonderful stay in PL. The house had incredible views, was quiet and centrally located. The inside was very well furnished, relaxing and well appointed with everything we needed.

Great place in a nice neighborhood, off the busy area but close enough to explore San Diego. Comfortable living area and beds. Amazing views.

Staying here felt like home. The place is so cozy, comfortable, it has everything we needed, and the views really make up your day. The hosts were very helpful and kept a wonderful communication. The house is situated in a quiet neighborhood, at walking distance from nice restaurants, cafes, and a grocery store.

We stayed just under a week with our two young kids (5 years old and 21 months) and, overall, the house didn’t fully meet our expectations. The space is spread over several floors, which makes it challenging with small children. Stephanie was responsive and kindly provided a stair gate, but it felt quite old and tricky to handle. This layout wasn’t clearly highlighted in the listing. The view is absolutely stunning, and the home is very well equipped. That said, the pool area wasn’t usable for us — it’s down four stairs with very limited space around it, which didn’t feel safe with toddlers. Another downside was the transparent curtains, which let in a lot of light. We’re not used to that, and everyone was waking up around 5 a.m. The location is close to local attractions, though we personally preferred the beachside areas of San Diego. We had to park on the street, as the garage didn’t accommodate our SUV. In summary, we’d recommend this house for families with older kids or teen

We had a very enjoyable stay! The house had all of the essentials and very much resembled how it appears in the photos. The hosts were also very communicative and responsive, which made for a great experience. There were two things (relatively small) that I wish I knew prior: 1) There is no outdoor sound system or portable speaker, so best to bring your own if you want music by the pool and 2) the pool could not be heated past 82 degrees, which could still feel quite chilly (depending on the weather). Overall, we had a great stay and would recommend to others!

I booked this place last minute literally after checking into a nearby hotel that was subpar at best and not as advertised. First time in Point Loma. Reason for visit was seeing my kids who live in Cali and Hawaii. So we met halfway as I am from the east coast. The ease of the entire experience is unmatched. The communication with the host was great and the house was amazing. Perfectly appointed. They thought of literally everything. And it was spotless and pristine. This is a unique home and experience. The most comfortable and beautiful and up to date everything is this house. I can’t think of a single thing that wasn’t perfect. There are stairs to the lower bedrooms and laundry and pool area. But I’m in shape and they didn’t scare me. The neighbors are super friendly. And the parking lot as adequate. The view is knockout insanely beautiful. The beds are comfy the pillows and linens are just like at home. It’s a quiet neighborhood close to everything. And I can’t think of a negative

This home was the perfect home away from home for our family getaway to San Diego! The location was central to so much and the views were stunning! The house was comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. The pool was a hit with our kids too! Stephanie and Ariel were friendly and helpful, the best hosts! We love this spot. This is our third time coming and it’s a special place. The location gives you a great view from the main window and easy access to everything San Diego has to offer, from hiking to the amusement parks, to neighborhoods like OB and North Park with cute shops and great food. And if you don’t feel like going out there’s always the fantastic pool for a swim and then eating out on the patio. They’re excellent hosts, with great communication, always keeping the place in great shape with plenty of supplies. We’ll keep coming back as long as they’ll have us.

Second time here and perfect spot to explore San Diego but cool off in the afternoon!

Amazing house in a quiet neighborhood just a few minutes from downtown and the beaches. The views are better than the pictures - we could have watched from the patio all day. Our kids loved the house and pool, and are already asking to go back. Highly recommend.

Incredible stay. We can’t wait return! Thoughtfully put together and meticulous, this home is lovely. Watching the sunrise over the bay each morning was amazing and my children felt so spoiled with their personal heated pool (complete with pool toys and towels). The design of the home and yard offers a great space for gathering along with many private nooks to spread out and relax. The kitchen was well stocked for our Thanksgiving meal prep and the linens and beds were crisp, clean and super comfortable The home is also close to a variety of adventures and restaurants….including coffee, boating, surfing, hiking, sunrise, sunsets and more. Thank you gracious hosts!

We really enjoyed our stay in Point Loma! This charming home is on a hill top with amazing views of Coronado and surrounding area, which means you have quick access to Ocean Beach and downtown. The only downside to the location being airplane noise from the airport and Naval base. Both of which dies down after dark. The swimming pool and the rest of the home was very well maintained and completely spotless. Simple check-in and great communication as well.

The house really was spotless which we really appreciate. Lots of clean towels and linen and plenty of bath towels for the pool. Very private outdoor deck and pool with deep end. We loved this house and would visit again.

I would prefer my comments are not posted. This was a very nice home, but I failed to notice there was not air conditioning. This made it sticky and uncomfortable in the heat and humidity. I paid for four nights but we only stayed one, which was expensive and disappointing. We booked different lodging across town with AC for the rest of our trip, so essentially paid double for our travel. I would recommend they consider adding some window AC units or at a minimum stating very boldly and explicitly that there is no air conditioning and that the home will be uncomfortable in August.

Amazing place in Point Loma with incredible views. Kids loved the pool and the house was well apportioned with everything we needed. We are looking forward to coming back soon! Stephanie was super helpful and responsive.

Wonderful place to take your family and explore San Diego! Don’t hesitate. Lots of space. Very private and clean pool and lots of linens and clean uncluttered design! Doesn’t have AC but plenty of wind to keep things cool at night! The neighbor is not entirely friendly but likely as they see lots of families come through. Don’t park close to the neighbors driveway as they will put a note on your car! I still wouldn’t hesitate. Good spot to check out the zoo, Point Loma, get into the city and up to Lego land or down to sesame place!

We had a great time here! The house was well equipped and conveniently located to explore all that San Diego has to offer!

This was our second stay and it was as great this time as it was last. The views of the bay are fantastic, the pool is a great size for our family of five, the beds are comfortable and the hosts make sure there are plenty of towels and little touches like extra shampoo and toiletries. We’ll keep coming back for as long as they’ll have us and would recommend to anyone.

I'm so glad we stayed at this lovely home! Everything was as described and as pictured, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The views from the house were incredible and the neighborhood was extremely quiet and peaceful. It was very easy to navigate to every other part of the city and surrounding areas from the house and parking was easy. The beds and bedrooms were very comfortable and the linens were great. Even though the weather was in the high 50s and low 60s during our stay, my 5 year old happily swam in the heated pool every day. We didn't use the grill or outdoor table but it would be a wonderful place to cook and eat outdoors if it had been warmer. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. We were extremely happy and would love to stay again!

We had a wonderful stay, it was exactly as we expected from the description and the reviews. Excellent communication, close to everything you would want to be close to in San Diego, really nice neighborhood, incredible views may be best of all. Comfortable beds too!

We had room that was infested with bugs and my 7yr old had bites all over his body. We had to leave after one night of a three night stay. I'm still waiting for the host to figure out what type of bug it is to come to a resolution and now on day 5 without resolution. This was the second time we've stayed at this house so we obviously enjoy it however we would never stay there again after the lack of regard from the host on our situation. The response I received after sending video and pictures of the situation was " I wish you hadn't left so we can make this right." It's incomprehensible to me that a person would expect a family to stay in a house that had these conditions. I also don't understand why they wouldn't be quick to find a resolution when then have to rely on word of mouth and testimonials and would treat us the way they did. I never write reviews but figured it was appropriate given the circumstances to make this my first.

The house was a really perfect location for us to stay. Open and well lit, comfortable beds, and a really spectacular view. We were lucky enough to be staying on the 4th of July and got to experience the fireworks over the bay from a perfect vantage point. The pool is a great size with plenty of privacy and it’s gentle on the skin and eyes because it’s salinated; a much bigger plus than we’d expected. The location gives great access to La Jolla Caves and Sunset Cliffs, as well as shopping and food options. We took advantage of the well kept kitchen and a Vons which also had a supercharger for the Tesla we’d rented, and Jenelle was great and communicative throughout. All in all a perfect trip and one we’d happily do again when we visit San Diego.

We had a phenomenal stay st Stephanie’s house. The pictures are accurate and the home is well put together. The view was gorgeous and our kids loved seeing the pool lit up at night. We traveled with 3 small kids and loved the thoughtful touches in the home (kid friendly plates, utensils, high hair, toys, pool accessories). We look forward to staying here again in the future!

This house totally lived up to the hype!! The view grabs you the minute you walk in the front door. The decor and attention to details (plush towels, lots of shampoo, conditioner, everything you would need in the kitchen, wonderful throws to cozy up in, absolute most comfortable pull out bed EVER ANYWHERE ) The location was perfect for us, within walking distance to lots of fun places for meals and a quick drive over the hill to view unbelievable sunsets each evening. Felt more at home in this home than we have at any other place we have stayed. We loved out time in San Diego and alot of it was because of this great home. Thanks so much for sharing with us!!

If I could give Stephanie’s house 10 stars, I would. Wow, wow, wow. Let’s start off with the view, there isn’t one better in San Diego. This house had EVERYTHING you could imagine from roasting pans for a thanksgiving turkey, soap and extra shampoo in the shower, a giant linen closet with more towels than you would need, to beach chairs and floaties for the kids in the pool. It is immaculately clean and looks exactly like the photos. The styling and design warm and cozy but not stuffy, and the heated pool was the cherry on top. The bedrooms are great sizes, main bedroom and bathroom is huge, and the second bedroom has a great built in with a hug each closet! Overall, there was nothing that could have been better. We had an amazing family vacation and already want to plan another trip.

This Airbnb is everything you see listed and more. The house is very tastefully decorated and super clean which we really appreciated. The top floor has a beautiful view of the city and the couch is very comfy for a cozy night of movie watching on the large TV. We found the beds to be very comfortable and the kitchen well stocked as well. The location is also perfect…super close to tons of great restaurants and sights. I would certainly recommend staying here but make sure you read the entire house rules and policies before you do so, so that you don’t run into any surprises. Even though we enjoyed our stay, we left with a sour taste in our mouth over their guest policy which we found to be a little bit unreasonable. I had a friend who I had not seen in years stop by for 1 hour (max) to say hi and that one hour cost me $30. She didn’t even have a glass of water or use the bathroom but I had to pay for her to visit to cover any wear and tear on the facility (per the house’s policy). I should not have been surprised because the listing’s policies state there is a fee for guests and I should have inquired about the fee before booking or before telling my guest she could stop by…so I take the blame for not reading and asking for clarification. I just assumed a fee would incur if the guest was spending considerable time at the house (or staying overnight) but that was not the case. It was even more disappointing because before we even arrived at the house for our stay, the host had already asked me for the favor of pulling out the garbage and yard debris cans (from previous guests and yard clean up). She said that if we didn’t want to do it, she would come do it herself but to be nice I happily agreed to do it so she didn’t have to venture out just for that. So when we were hit with the guest fee for the hour visit, we just felt taken advantage of and felt like we were being nickeled and dimed. Again, I take responsibility for this because the listing does mention a guest fee and I should’ve known better, but I felt like the host could’ve handled it better given I had agreed to take trash out that didn’t belong to us just to be nice. Again, we were very happy with the house itself and would 100% recommend this house to anyone but make sure you read the very long house rules so that you don’t make the same mistake I made.

Beautiful home. Perfect for families of littles—it had everything we needed!! Toys, books, life jackets, beach things, baby gates, a high chair and more! But as clean as the house was, you could never tell children stayed there. We loved our stay!

What a terrific home away from home. The views were even better than expected, the pool was awesome and has lights for some night swimming, the house was stylish and super clean, the beds were super comfy. The location was INCREDIBLE. The neighborhood, house, and backyard we’re all beautiful and functional. Conveniently located minutes from downtown, and within walking distance of shops and restaurants (Definitely go to Winchell’s for a donut & iced coffee)! Neighbors are close but there’s still tons of privacy. Our jeep just fit in the garage but parking on the street is just as convenient. Hard to leave the heated pool which has 4 loungers and a pool house stocked with trendy floats, pool toys, bathroom and mini fridge! Master was decadent as were both bathrooms. The second bedroom is modest but comfortable. Didn’t use Kitchen much, but it has everything you need for an extended stay and would be great for kids. Dining room has views for days and opens into the living area with a comfy (white) couch. Stephanie was easily accessible and check in/out was no problem.

Wonderful place and the pool was huge, private and at a great temperature. We really enjoyed our stay. The views of the city and the bay made us feel like we were in NYC or San Francisco. It was easy to get Doordash deliveries and Amazon grocery deliveries here. The kitchen was well appointed and had everything we needed. There were a lot of clean towels and pool towels and a bunch of floaties and pool noodles and having that small restroom right there near the pool was great. It took us about 15 mins by car to get to the downtown boardwalk (near the Fish Market restaurant/etc). We will be back!

We stayed with two small kids and it was awesome! Had everything we needed (highchair, carseat, pack n play, toys, books, pool toys and floaties) so we didnt have to pack any of that, which eased the stress of travelling with small kids. Would definitelystay again!

Highly recommend staying at Stephanie's place. It was in a great location, was clean, and had every amenity needed. We loved swimming in their pool and the view from the home was beautiful. The only thing we had wished for was AC as we happened to stay here when during the 100* heat wave. However, they provided numerous fans which really helped. We stayed there with our infant, and they were kind enough to set out all baby items, cribs, etc. for us. Overall great stay and I would recommend to others. Thank you, Stephanie!

This house was ideal for our family getaway. As noted in other reviews, the views are amazing! Everything was incredibly clean, the pool + pool room was perfect and private, neighborhood felt very safe and walkable. As we were traveling with small children, it was really wonderful that the hosts had set out all the baby gear we needed, including a high chair, stroller, and crib. In addition, they have an assortment of toys/games/books for all ages (but it doesn't feel overwhelming - people without kids may not even notice) - even a bottle cleaning brush! We hope to come back again soon.

One of the cleanest houses we have stayed in which was very appreciated during COVID. House had spectacular views. It is very comfortable. Pool had all the toys and was fun. A great vacation spot.

Our stay was perfect in every way. This home is beautiful and serene, the yard is immaculate and peaceful, and the view is even better than the pictures! We kept saying that we already wanted to book another trip in the future. Great hosts, tasteful decor, and a lovely, walkable neighborhood as well.

We can't wait to plan our next stay! This home was amazing. The views are out of this world and the pool is the icing on the cake! I woke up early everyday to have coffee on the balcony. Our kids enjoyed watching all the ships and sail boats going around the bay. The pool room was perfect with all the toys, towels, bathroom and mini fridge to make cold beverages available without having to go back up into the kitchen. This was a fantastic place to stay in San Diego. It is a quick and easy trip to the airport (less than 10 minutes) with lots of places to eat and shop close by! The house itself is beautiful and extremely clean, very tidy. It had everything you need for the pool and beach! The house was stocked and ready for baby’s and kids! From cups and plates to kids pool toys, High chair and baby gates! Everything was there and ready for use. The pool was very clean and the perfect water temperature. We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it to our friends and family!

This house was fantastic. The view was superb, the beds were very comfortable, it was meticulously clean and they even had baby gates and baby proofing items! We had a wonderful stay. The location is great as well, very central to most of San Diego's tourist attractions.

I'm not sure how this wonderful home could've been any better. From the host communication, to the location, to the amenities to the house itself, this was by far and away, the best rental we have ever stayed in, and we've traveled a lot. It's not easy to accommodate every type of guest, especially those with families, but this house was perfect for our family. Perfect for the adults, perfect for our tween, and perfect for our little one as well. Thank you so much for making our trip to San Diego one of our best family vacations ever!

Had an amazing time! The house is even more amazing than the pictures. The view is incredible, we had a blast watching the planes, and the pool was perfect and large. The home was stylish and spotless. We put the beach amenities to good use. Jenelle was super responsive to any need or question. Point Loma was lovely and quick to get to our favorite spots (Ocean Beach, Mission Beach, waterfront etc). We would highly recommend and hope to come again some day soon.

I NEVER write reviews... but I just couldn’t let this one go!! This house is AMAZING!! My husband and I planned our vacation to CA 8 months in advance and did an extensive amount of “homework” before making any reservations. This house looked like it was exactly what we were looking for. We booked. We went. It WAS exactly what we were looking for. The views are stunning!! The house is completely renovated and very tastefully done. The furniture is comfortable, the bathrooms make you feel like you are in a spa, even the bath towels are super soft!! The kitchen was very well stocked with things we needed. There were many baby items available, including a pack-n-play and high chair and even those were VERY clean!! There were even toddler spoons, bowls and cups in the kitchen. The patio and pool area was so nice. There were pool floats, wings and beach items available for our stay, too. Nothing was overlooked. The owners did a wonderful job thinking of a family’s needs and covering all bases. Thank you!!

Stephanie and Jenelle were amazing hosts. They were prompt with responses right from the get go. We were traveling with two babies so upon arrival all the baby stuff was laid out for us. The house was even better in person than pics which is never usually the case. It was also spotless and had all natural cleaning products (which was a bonus for us ). The outdoor space was amazing! It was beautiful with a fully equipped deck and the pool was large, nice and warm. The location was great; close to beaches , restaurants and downtown. We would definitely stay here again!

This was the perfect home for our San Diego getaway. The location was great - close to the airport and downtown, but quiet and tucked into a neighborhood to relax in the evenings with an amazing view of the city. The outdoor area is spectacular. We had everything we needed at the house to make our stay very comfortable. We were traveling with an infant, and they even provided baby gates and baby proofing stuff for us. Our stay at Stephanie's beautiful Point Loma retreat was a truly amazing experience. The house is so nicely renovated; which feels clean and crisp all while maintaining the original charm. They have truly thought of everything; the house was equipped with everything we needed for our stay including pool floats for the kids, board games, and a telescope to gaze at the amazing views. The heated pool and backyard oasis provided hours of fun and relaxation all while being surrounded by beautiful gardens and privacy. Jenelle is a very helpful and accommodating host; her excellent communication made for such a smooth check in and stay. The location couldn't have been better for our San Diego adventures and the view is absolutely breathtaking. We hope to be back again someday!

The apartment is just stunning! And the view... Oh my god! We travelled with our 7 months old daughter and Jenelle provided us with every baby equipment you can imagine. We would always come back!!

We absolutely loved staying here. The house was comfortable with everything we needed including some baby gear. We loved playing in the pool and taking in the view from upstairs! The location was awesome with great access to the restaurants at liberty station and an easy drive from the airport. The host was easy to get in touch with and responsive. Best Airbnb I’ve staying in. Great location, clean, fantastic amenities, super responsive hosts. Great for kids. We stayed with our 2 year old and 3 month old and the house was great for them. Particularly the 2 year old. Would advise any family to stay here.

What a fabulous property. We loved our stay here. First off, those views of San Diego. Truly amazing sights across the city, including a few passing aircraft carriers. The house is supremely well presented with excellent furnishings, a high calibre kitchen and two lovely bathrooms. The pool and terrace are great. The location is excellent, close to everything but safe and in a nice road.

Our trip was wonderful and this house was the perfect place to stay!! It is fairly centrally located and easy to get to. It was ready right on time and was very clean and tidy when we arrived. Our host was very attentive and answered all of my questions almost immediately. The pool is the best!! We spent most every evening swimming in the very private pool area. It too was sparkling clean and wonderful.

Gorgeous, clean home with wonderful amenities in a very scenic and walkable location. The house looks just as pictured if not nicer. It was spotless upon arrival and well stocked with towels and paper products as well as all the kitchen supplies we needed. We traveled with my family and Jenelle had set up a high chair, pack n play, and new baby floaties for the pool before our arrival. She was incredibly helpful leading up to and during our stay; she’s highly responsive and very thoughtful which made us feel welcome. The house is on a quiet residential street but just a few blocks from coffee shops, restaurants, and the harbor. We loved the neighborhood, pool, cleanliness, beautiful renovation and stunning views. Short drive to the airport, Coronado, Liberty Station, Balboa Park and Cabrillo Park. We would definitely stay here again and recommend this place to friends.

If possible, the house is even better than the pictures suggest. Amazing views, quiet neighborhood......perfect for family!!!

Very nice home with a great view of the harbor. Pool was enjoyable and location is solid. Recommended for kids and adults.

This is such a great place for a San Diego vacation. The kids loved the heated pool, the whole house was remodeled in a very tasteful way. A lot of nice touches (like the telescope to view the near naval base), great beds and stylish bathrooms – and a very functional kitchen.

This is an amazing place to stay - we really did not want to leave!! The house has a lovely feel to it and is beautifully furnished; it has a gorgeous pool; beds were very comfortable; and the bathrooms were fabulous. But the real standout feature for us were the most incredible views stretching right across San Diego, Coronado, the mountains and the Pacific Ocean - it really was a very special place and we would stay there again in a heartbeat. We loved the local seafood restaurant, Mitch's - and only a five minute walk away. The food is great and it's a great spot on the marina to watch the fishermen and seals. We made a visit to Cabrillo National Monument and the Fort Rosecrans military cemetery which were both fascinating. And of course we couldn't stay in the area without a day at the zoo - always a brilliant trip. Thanks for making our stay so enjoyable and memorable.

Stephanie"s home is beautiful, completely remodeled, and immaculate. Photos do not do it justice! The views are stunning and the pool is lovely, much larger than one would expect for an in town location, convenient to many of San Diego's attractions! The pool was complete with floats and pool toys, beach chairs and mats were supplied, great for our trip to Coronado island! Janelle was extremely helpful with all of the details involving our visit. We hope to make it out to San Diego, and would love to stay at Stephanie's place again!!!
